The Organization of Iranian Kurdistan Struggle  (Sazmani Khabat) welcomes the Swedish parliament s decision regarding the proposal to label the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC), the Iranian regime s security apparatus, as terrorist.

On Wednesday, January 20, 2023, the Swedish Parliament passed a bill requiring the government to actively list the Iranian Revolutionary Guard Corps as a foreign terrorist organization in the European Union.

In the bill, which was put forward by the Swedish parliament s foreign policy committee and all eight political parties actively participated in the decision and a total of 349 members of parliament were present, the Swedish government was asked to follow the Swedish parliament s decision.

Sazmani Khabat believes that the decision of the Swedish Parliament, which currently holds the rotating presidency of the European Union, is important and thanks them for the important and historic decision. The adoption of this decision is an important blow against the arrogance of the regime s terrorist Revolutionary Guards, its crimes against the people of Iran and Kurdistan, and its constant violations of human rights.

We hope that the Swedish government takes the responsible and historic bill from its parliament seriously and works for the Revolutionary Guard to end up on the list of terrorist organizations in the European Union.
