Message from Mr. Secretary General of the organization Khabat in Iranian Kurdistan on the occasion of December 17th.

Happy Kurdistan Flag Day
Citizens of Kurdistan!
Fighter for freedom and liberation!

In the history of the Kurdish peoples struggle for their rights in Iranian Kurdistan, there are many great and brilliant occasions and memories that symbolize the definition of resistance and continuity in the struggle for liberation.

One of those days in our history is when Kurds raised the flag of Kurdistan in Mahabad by martyr Peshawar Qazi Mohammad.
Although the flag of Kurdistan was raised only in several cities and regions of Kurdistan, but for all Kurdish people was a source of happiness, hope and pride for all citizens.

Today we celebrate the anniversary of raising the flag of Kurdistan while the Kurdish people of Iranian Kurdistan continue their struggle against the dictatorial regime of the Akhund.
Especially in the last year and a half, with the beginning of the Zhina revolution, the revolution of woman, life, freedom, the Kurdish people and other Iranian nations have used every opportunity to express their anger and disgust against the criminal and tyrannical regime of the Akhunds in Iran.

Despite ruthless repression, crime, terrorism, imprisonment, torture and execution of innocent people.
The Akhundi regime authorities thought they could put an end to the protests of the Kurdish people and all Iranian nations by killing, threatening and assassinating the freedom fighters and then oppressing the Kurdish citizens and the entire Iranian people.
But contrary to the wishes of the regime authorities, their threats, oppression and executions not only affected the high courage and bravery of the freedom-seeking masses, but made them angrier and more determined to fight against this dictatorial and oppressive regime.
On the occasion of the raising of the flag of Kurdistan on December 17, I salute the soul of Peshawar Qazi Mohammad and all the fighters who played a role in raising the flag of Kurdistan.
